Connect a dial up modem to your phone

Dial-up Internet connections typically take over your phone line when you are using the Internet, preventing calls from reaching your phone. However, it is possible to wire your dial phone up to the modem and still have it connected to the same phone line. Not only does this give you the ability to connect to the Internet and use your phone at the same time, but you only need one phone outlet to perform this action.
