How to Install Verizon Ringtones
Cell phones come with a variety of pre-installed ringtones that you can use to customize the sounds you hear when you receive an incoming, message or alert. They include a wide range of sounds, from the basic telephone ring to complex beats and melodies. Take it one step farther and you can install purchased ringtones for your Verizon cell phone. These are available directly through your handset and your phone account will be charged for the purchases. Each phone works differently, but the process for installing ringtones is essentially the same for each Verizon model.

Select the "Get It Now" menu on your Verizon phone. This will bring you to the ringtones shopping menu.

Choose "Get Tones."

Select the ringtone application you want to use.

Choose the pricing option you want. The phone will begin to download the ringtone application you're your selected number of download credits. When it's complete, the screen will prompt you with, "App Installed Successfully. Would You Like to Run It Now."

Select "Yes."

Browse through the application to select a ringtone you want to download. Once selected, the ringtone will download.

Open the phone's sound settings to change the ringtone. Select the newly-installed ringtone to assign it.
