How to Troubleshoot a Delphi XM2GO
The XM2GO MyFi satellite radio receiver let's you take XM radio service with you anywhere you want. The company markets it as the world's first portable satellite radio receiver, ideal for satellite radio fans who don't want to be anchored to the satellite radio in their car or in a bulky stereo system. Several technical problems may afflict the Delphi XM2Go device, producing problems like no signal reception or static. Troubleshoot such issues to resolve the underlying problems and get back to enjoying your favorite satellite talk shows and music.

Check that the Delphi device is powered on if the screen is blank. Press and hold the power button, located on the top-right corner of the device.

Make sure a battery is installed and charged if the device won't turn on when you press the power button. Turn the radio receiver over and push the battery door latch, located on the top of the device, to open the battery compartment door. If a battery is installed and non-responsive, it may need charging. Connect the device to its charging dock for three hours to fully charge the battery.

Verify that you have active XM radio service if the device turns on but you cannot listen to any channels. Find your XM radio ID printed on your Delphi device's box. If you've misplaced the box, turn the device on and spin the signal dial to channel 0. You will see eight symbols on the device's screen; this is your radio ID. Call the XM company at 800-967-2346 to register the radio receiver if you're already an XM customer or if you need to create a new account. Activation typically takes 15 minutes.

Unlock and unmute the device if you can access radio channels but can't hear any audio or if the device turns on but doesn't respond to any of its buttons. Press and hold the mute button, located on the bottom of the center of the device's keypad. This mutes and unmutes the audio. Press and hold again to unlock or lock the device's keypad.
