How to Register a T-Mobile SIM Card to a Sidekick3

SIM cards are a key component of mobile devices

SIM cards are given to people who sign up with T-Mobile, alongside the phone that they pick, such as the T-Mobile Sidekick 3. However, the SIM card alone isn't going to do much. The SIM card needs a phone in order to work, and the Sidekick needs the SIM card in order to access T-Mobile. Using the SIM card with the Sidekick registers it with the network for access.

Instructions

1. Peel the cover located on the bottom of the sidekick.

2. Insert the SIM card given to you from T-Mobile into the slot, with the gold part facing the front of the sidekick, and the cut part facing the front-right.

3. Close up the SIM cover with the bumper you removed in Step 1.

4. Turn on the T-Mobile Sidekick to have the phone register the SIM card with the network.

Tips & Warnings

• Wait a few seconds if this is your first time turning on the phone. It may take time for the initial registration to occur.
