How to program a Honda keyless entry remote fob

Instructions

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (one step forward from off - do not crank engine, if engine is accidentally cranked start process over).

2. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button with the transmitter aimed at the vehicle.

3. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

4. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch to the ON position again.

5. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button with the transmitter aimed at the vehicle.

6. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

7. Within 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

8. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button with the transmitter aimed at the vehicle.

9. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch OFF.

10. Within 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch ON again.

11. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button with the transmitter aimed at the vehicle.

12. Confirm you can hear the sound of the door locks cycling locked or unlocked.

13. Within 8 seconds, aim the transmitters (up to three) whose codes you want to store in the receiver, and press the transmitter lock or unlock buttons one at a time. Confirm that you can hear the sound of the door locks cycling locked or unlocked after each transmitter code is stored.

14. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and pull out the key.

15. Confirm proper operation of the keyless entry fobs by testing each one.
