Tips & Warnings
Check the care label of your garment for any special care instructions and follow these specific instructions when laundering your GORE-TEX garment.
Apply a pre-wash stain remover to any stains before you wash the GORE-TEX garment in the washing machine. Allow the stain remover to sit on the stain for several minutes and then scrub at the stain lightly to remove it. Wash the garment in a normal wash cycle following the pretreatment.
Iron a GORE-TEX garment with a warm iron set to steam. Place a bath towel over the garment and iron the garment through the towel to remove wrinkles.
If you desire dry cleaning, ask the dry cleaning establishment to use a clear distilled solvent rinse and a spray repellent when laundering your garment.
Do not use chlorine bleach on GORE-TEX material because bleach may damage the fabric fibers.
