How to Install a No-Cut Frame Slider on a 2008 Suzuki GSXR 750
Frame sliders offer an inexpensive form of protection for your Suzuki GSX-R 750's most expensive component...the frame. Unfortunately, installing a set of frame sliders usually involves cutting holes into the plastic bodywork of the motorcycle. If done properly, the finish of the motorcycle will be unmarred. This, however, takes a certain level of skill to accomplish. To ease the minds of many GSX-R riders, no-cut sliders are available. Consisting of a set of Delrin pucks mounted to offset plates that wrap around the bike's fairings, these frame sliders offer protection without cutting the bodywork.
Things You'll Need

1
Assemble the frame slider plates by sliding the cup spacers into place. There should be two spacers per plate. Apply a drop of thread-locking adhesive to the threads of the spacer bolts. Use an allen key or socket wrench to screw the bolts through the plate and into the spacers.

2
Remove the middle fairings from both sides of the motorcycle. Use an allen key or socket wrench to unscrew the fairing bolts and pull the fairing away from the frame.

3
Loosen the right side engine stud pinch bolt with a socket wrench. Unscrew the engine stud and remove it. Place the right side plate against the frame and secure it with a socket cap bolt. Reinsert the engine stud through the bottom of the plate and tighten with a socket wrench.

Loosen the left side engine stud pinch bolt with a socket wrench. Unscrew the engine stud and remove it. Slide the included aluminum washer onto the threaded end of the socket cap bolt and place the left side plate against the frame. Tighten the socket cap bolt to the plate to the frame. Reinsert the engine stud through the bottom of the plate and tighten with a socket wrench.

5
Reinstall the middle fairings onto the motorcycle. Mount the frame slider pucks to the plates, placing the longer puck on the left side of the motorcycle. Each puck has a notched section to wrap around the fairings. Align the notch so that the puck will not contact the motorcycle's bodywork. Apply a drop of thread-locking adhesive to the threads of the mounting bolts and tighten with a socket wrench.
