How to Get Praxis Practice Tests

A prospective teacher seeking certification or a license must achieve a satisfactory score on the Praxis test. For Praxis I and Praxis II study guides with practice questions are available for purchase in most larger book stores. If you prefer to avoid an unnecessary purchase, however, you may also find practice tests available from a range of sources.

Instructions

1. Purchase a study guide that includes practice tests. "Praxis," the 10th edition, from Kaplan Publishing, includes six practice tests and hundreds of practice questions.

2. Buy the third edition of McGraw Hill's "Praxis I and II," which contains three practice tests.

3. Obtain a copy of the fourth edition of "Barron's PRAXIS I/PPST." Barron's asserts that the guide contains the "most up-to-date review and practice tests currently available."

4. Acquire "The Praxis Series Official Guide," published by ETS, "the company that makes the tests." It also includes hundreds of practice questions.

5. Visit the resources center of the education department of your college or university and ask for copies of Praxis practice tests.

6. Borrow a Praxis study guide from your college, university or municipal library.
