1
Turn the printer off. Make sure the printer is not moving for at least 30 seconds before proceeding.
-
2
Inspect the paper you are using in the printer. The amount of paper loaded into the feed tray should not exceed 25 sheets. Make sure the paper is not wrinkled, torn or folded at the edges.

3
Reload the paper into the printer and adjust the paper guides. Make sure the guides are pressed against the paper without making the loaded paper curve upward.
-
4
Open the document you were trying to print. Click on the "File" pulldown menu, select "Print," and then select the properties button. In properties, click on options, then printer setup, then finally preferences. Once you are in the preferences section, click on the paper/quality tab. Select the size pull down menu and select the size paper you are trying to use. Select the type pull down menu and select the correct type of paper you are trying to use for the print job.
-
5
Click "OK" twice to close out all of the extra windows, bringing you back to the document you were trying to print. Try printing the document again. If the paper still will not feed, contact your local service shop.
