Ask a friend or family member to take pictures of you with a digital camera. Take lots of photos to give yourself choices of pictures to pick from. Pose in an area where there is good lighting and stand in front of a plain white wall. Once you have taken a lot of photographs, print out the best pictures that you took and make a few copies of them.

After you have made copies of your pictures, find a modeling agency list. Go online and do a search for modeling agencies. You can also look at modeling websites such as http://www.allcastingcalls.com or http://www.allmodeling.com to find a free list of modeling agencies that you can use. Send copies of your pictures to a few of the modeling agencies, in order to see if they will work with you and possibly represent you.

Patiently wait to hear back from a modeling agency to see if they want to work with you. When an agency contacts you, accepts you and wants to represent you, ask your modeling agent if they will submit you to Gap casting calls and send you on any Gap modeling auditions.
