How to Trade Items in Diablo 2

When playing Diablo 2 on Battlenet, you will want to gear your party well so that Hell Mode will be easier to beat. If you have extra gear that will be useful for another player in your party, you can share the items with just a few clicks of the mouse. The process should be practiced so that you can quickly exchange gear between battles.

Instructions

1. Hover your mouse cursor over the person you want to trade with.

2. Right-click your mouse.

3. In chat, tell the other player to press the "okay" button. To use chat, press the "enter" button on your keyboard, type your message and press "enter" again.

4. Click on the items you want to trade and drag them into the trade window that pops up.

5. Click the checkmark box in the trade window to finish the trade on your end.

6. Tell the other player to click the checkmark box in the trade window to finish the trade on their end.

Tips & Warnings

• To compare armor and weapons with other players, drag the items into the trade window. Drag the items back to the character window when you are done.
