How to Install a 2003 Server on a Microsoft Virtual PC

A Microsoft Virtual PC is a faux computer created using the Virtual PC 2007 software. This program allows you to set up a simulated computer within your main PC, making your machine capable of running multiple operating systems at the same time.       Open "Start," open "All Programs," and click on the "Virtual PC" program.

      Insert a Windows Server 2003 installation CD into the computer.

      Highlight the PC upon which Windows Server is to be installed and press "Start."

      Press any key as the virtual PC is booting to start up from the CD.

      Highlight the drive upon which you will be installing Windows Server 2003 and press "Enter." This will almost always be the "C" drive.
