Connect your DVD VCR combo.

DVD VCR combos allow you to play both DVD and VHS tapes on a television without purchasing or connecting two different products. You can also record content using the VCR side of the device. If you access your television programming through an antenna you can also feed the antenna signal through the DVD VCR combo tuner. This allows you to record live shows from the TV with the VCR.

Insert a coaxial cable into the "Out" port on the converter box, then connect the opposite end of the cable into the "In" port on the DVD VCR combo device.

    • 3

Connect the second coaxial cable into the "Out" port on the DVD VCR combo and insert the free end into the "In" port on the television.

    • 4

Power on the TV, DVD VCR combo and the converter box. Switch the converter box to the "VCR" setting, then change it to station 3. You can now view your television programing on the TV.
