How to Adjust the Scraper Blade on an MTD Snowblower
You will need to make several attempts when adjusting the scraper blade on an MTD snowblower. The adjustments must be made with the shave plate and augers off the ground. If the shave plate is too low, the snowblower will not self-propel forward. If the adjustment is too high, snow will blow under the housing rather than the chute. You can make the adjustments to the shave plate with one hand tool. Does this Spark an idea?
