How to Enable Yahoo Messenger Archiving Without Someone Being Able to Tell
Yahoo! Messenger allows you the options of pulling up a previous chat history for a single conversation or of configuring settings so that all future chat histories are saved. In either case, the person for whom you want to review the chat history will not see that you are doing so, since preference settings are only recorded on your own computer or mobile device.
Instructions
-

1
Sign in to your Yahoo! Messenger and double click on the screen name for the person whose past conversation you want to look up. A chat window will open.

Click on the link to "Show Recent Messages." The very last conversation you had with this person will appear.
-
-
3
Scroll back up to the top of the current chat history and click on the "View Full Archive" link. This reveals the chat history for older conversations with the same person.
Enabling All Archives
