The Brother 210C is a multifunction printer with the ability to fax, scan, copy and print. It has a front-loading tray for easy use and PC faxing and color faxing capabilities. You can choose to use the fax machine component or not, but you will need a dedicated fax number and service account. It is simple to wire the fax machine component of this printer. All you need is a phone line going into the port.

  1. Preparation

      Peel off the tape on the fax machine components.

      Remove the paper tray from the machine by sliding it out.

    • 3

      Flip through a stack of 100 sheets of white paper to loosen them. Insert them into the tray and squeeze the paper guides to fit the size of the paper.

      Pull down the paper supports and flap.

    • 5

      Reinsert the paper tray into the machine.

      Lift the cover and pull out the ink cartridge. Remove the tape from the bottom of the cartridge and place it back in its holder. Shut the printer cover.

    Connection

      Connect the power cord to the Brother fax machine and plug the other end into an outlet.

      Hook one end of the telephone cord into the port labeled "MFC" and the other end into a wall socket.

      Turn on the Brother 210C and start faxing.
