PowerPoint is a presentation application made by Microsoft. The application lets you create a slideshow of charts, graphs and text that you can use when making a pitch or presenting a proposal at work. It takes only a few clicks to start a PowerPoint presentation.

Instructions

  1. Open PowerPoint

      Click on your computer's "Start" menu and view the list of programs. If you see PowerPoint, double click on it.

      Scroll up and click "Programs" or "All Programs" if you do not see PowerPoint when you first click on the Start menu.

      Scroll over and click "Microsoft Office," then "Microsoft Office PowerPoint." The application will start.

      Find your PowerPoint presentation on your desktop or onhard drive. Right click on the icon.

      Scroll down and choose "Show" in the options that appear. Your presentation will begin.

      Hit "View" in the main menu if you are in the PowerPoint application and working on a presentation. Scroll down and click "Slide Show." Your presentation will begin.
