Go to lavasoft.com or click the resource link to launch the Lavasoft home page. Select the Lavasoft Ad-Aware version that you want to install. Select the "Plus," or "Pro," version if you want to purchase a download and receive additional scanning options, real-time network protection and free support. If you select the paid versions, follow the guided prompts to purchase your software program.

Click "Download Free," if you want to install the free version of Lavasoft Ad-Aware. A new page launches. Click "Download." You are redirected to the Cnet page. Click the "Download Now" link. When prompted, click "Save" to launch the file-saving dialog box.

Select the desktop in the "Save in box and click "Save" to download the Lavasoft Ad-Aware installation file to your desktop.
