2004 Intrepid Keyless Entry Programming Instructions
The Dodge Intrepid was produced between 1995 and 2004. The last few model years of the second generation (1998 to 2004) came standard with keyless entry. If you lose one of your keyless remotes, you can program an extra one to work with your Intrepid. You can also program additional remotes (up to four) to serve as backups, or for other family members. Unfortunately, at least one functioning remote is required to enter the Intrepid's programming mode. If you don't have one, you'll have to get your Dodge dealer to program a remote with the factory scan tool.

Tips & Warnings
If you cannot synchronize the remote with your Intrepid, try replacing the battery. The 2004 Intrepid's keyless remote uses battery number DL2016. Purchase this battery at an electronics store. Pry open the remote with a coin to replace the battery.
