Use candy to create edible bouquets.

Delight a candy lover with an edible gift that will satisfy her sweet tooth. Create a decorative bouquet using candy rather than flowers. Instructions

    • 1

Fill a tall glass vase with green floral foam. Break the foam into chunks prior to placing it into the vase for a perfect fit.

    • 2

Wrap wooden skewers or dowels with green floral tape. Leave 2 inches at both the top and the bottom of the sticks unwrapped. Use a cool-temp glue gun to attach plastic or silk leaves to the dowel. Be sure to allow enough space at the top of the sticks for the candy "flowers."

    • 3

Glue candy to the top of the skewers or dowels as "blooms." Use individually wrapped mini candy bars, pieces of candy, gumballs or any other type of confection. Choose candy featuring a variety of wrapper colors, from bright orange to silver foil. To support heavier pieces of candy, wrap two skewers or dowels together with floral tape.

    • 4

Insert the candy-decorated dowels or skewers into the floral foam. Stagger the arrangement for a decorative look.

    • 5

Fill in any gaps with colorful pieces of tissue paper. For a festive look, insert pieces of blue, orange, yellow and pink paper. Place a gift bow on the front of the vase to finish the bouquet.
