Metro PCS is a cellular service provider offering cell phones and PDAs for everyday use. The company's voicemail feature allows you to listen to messages left for you by callers. Using your Metro PCS phone, you can record a personal greeting to tell people what to do after the “beep.”

Press “1” on your Metro PCS phone, then press “Send” to access your voicemail. You can also dial your cell phone number to access your voicemail. When you set up your voicemail the first time, you will have to follow a series of prompts. You will be prompted to create a password and a personalized greeting.

Create a password that you will easily remember. The password will consist of four numbers. The default password for Metro PCS is 9999. You will use the default password the first time you access your voicemail account.

Record a voicemail greeting. After you have recorded the greeting, follow the prompts to save it. If you are not satisfied with the greeting, you can delete the original and record it again.
