How to Measure for a Batting Helmet

• Soft tape measure
• Batting helmet size chart

Instructions

   Soft tape measure

   Wrap the tape measure around your head. You want the tape measure to be just above the ears. You are measuring your head's circumference.

2. Compare your head measurements to that of the batting helmet size chart. For example if your head size is 22 inches, your batting helmet size is 6 7/8. You should be able to get a batting helmet size chart from the company from which you are ordering your batting helmet. If not, a quick Internet search should produce a batting helmet size chart.

3. Order the proper size batting helmet, or purchase it from a sporting goods store if you don't want to wait. Purchasing batting helmets that are too big or too small can lead to injury.
