Text a ringtone to a Verizon Juke.

The Verizon Juke is a cell phone that is manufactured by the Samsung Corp. for the Verizon Wireless network. It is one of Verizon's most popular mp3 player cell phones, but still, as with most cell phones the first thing that many users are concerned with customizing on the Verizon Juke is the ringtone. Verizon blocks users from adding ringtones to their cell phones through traditional methods like USB transfer or by downloading them through text messages. With the appropriate process though, you can text a ringtone to a Verizon Juke.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to your email account, sign in and begin composing a new email message. Put your 10-digit Verizon Wireless cell phone number followed by Verizon's picture text messaging extension into the recipient field of the email address (e.g. xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com).

    • 2

Attach your ringtone to the email message just as you would any other attachment, and then send the email message, which will be delivered to your Verizon Juke as a picture text message.

    • 3

Click "View" on your Verizon Juke to open the picture text message when you receive it. Click "Options," and then click "Save as Ringtone" to save the ringtone to your Verizon Juke.

Tips & Warnings

  • Place the digits of your cell phone number all together with no spaces of hyphens between them.

  • Make sure you address your email message to the appropriate messaging extension--the picture text messaging extension (vzwpix.com), not the regular text messaging extension (vtext.com).

  • Picture text messaging fees might apply, depending upon your Verizon subscription.
