How to Change the Document Size From Legal to Letter
The default document size for most applications is typically letter format, which is 8.5 by 11 inches, as it is the standard printing paper size. If you have set a previous document to fit legal sized paper, which is 8.5 by 14 inches, you may need to change your page settings back to the default for printing on standard paper. When you change the document size, or paper size, you will change the default margins of the document. To ensure your document prints out correctly, make sure your paper size and your printing paper match.
