How to Make 3D Routes From Google Maps
Google Maps is a website that can help you get directions from one place to another. You can find directions by car, public transportation, bicycle and walking. You also can view real-life pictures of the places where you're traveling. These 3D images can be used to find landmarks and get a sense of the area before you start traveling.

1
Visit Google.com, and click on "Maps" in the top left-hand corner of the page.
-
2
Click "Get Directions," and type in the addresses of your starting location and final destination. Click "Get Directions" again. The specific address you type will have a green teardrop shape above it.

Find the icon on the map that looks like a small yellow person. The icon is located on the top left-hand side of the map. Click the icon, and drag it to the point on the map that you want to view in 3D. If you are trying to view an infrequently traveled side road, there is a chance Google Maps will not yet have the 3D images for this area. Check back as the site becomes more updated. Also, since you are using a computer screen, the images will show depth, but will not technically be 3D images.

Use the directional icon in the top left-hand corner of the map to navigate. The top arrow moves your view up toward the sky. The bottom arrow moves your view down toward the ground. The left and right arrows move your view from side to side. You also can click and drag your mouse to move around the screen.

5
Click the person icon in the small map in the bottom right-hand corner, and move it forward, back, left or right to view a new area. You also can move to new area by clicking on the white arrows within the image.
