How to Access Secure FTP
Secure FTP, also known as SFTP or SCP, is a version of the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) system. This system implements added levels of security to ensure your username, password and any other files transferred over the Internet are protected when moving to and from web servers. Using the proper SFTP programs will allow you to access these files.
