How to Convert a Photo for the Cartoon Filter in Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is a powerful software tool that allows you to manipulate digital image files. One of the many features of Photoshop is the ability to insert filters. Filters in Photoshop originated from the concept used in photography of placing a filter over a lens. It simply allows you to alter the way the original image appears. Converting a photo into a cartoon requires the use of the "Poster Edges" filter and the "Cutout" filter in Photoshop.
