How to Change an Address on Your Illinois Driver's License
Illinois requires drivers to notify the state within 10 days of a move. This will update your address within the state's records. The state does not require that you obtain a replacement driver's license with the updated address, although this is recommended. If you only want to satisfy the bare minimum and update your address within the state's records, see the Tips section.
