Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup corn oil
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • Fork
  • Tongs
  • 2 cups shredded beef
  • bunch chopped green onions
  • 1/2 head shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 1 cup salsa verde

Instructions

      Heat the corn oil in a small frying pan until a drop of water immediately sizzles.

      Fry the tortilla lightly on each side. Before it becomes crisp, bend the tortilla in half using a fork and tongs to hold it steady.

      Drain the tortillas on a paper towel.

      Heat the beef in a stove or microwave until it is steaming.

      Place two tablespoons of shredded beef into each shell.

      Add onions, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and salsa.
