Instructions

1
Take a small bowl and place it face down over a piece of felt fabric. Trace a circle that is slightly larger than the bowl. Cut out the circle.
-
2
Apply pea-sized dots of craft glue to the bowl. Make sure there is enough glue coverage so the fabric adheres all the way around the bowl.
-
-
3
Wrap the fabric around the outside of the bowl so that it forms the shape of a handle-less teacup; hold the fabric in place for a few seconds until the glue is thoroughly dry.
-
4
Spray the fabric with a layer of starch and allow it to dry for about 20 minutes. Repeat this step two or three times until the fabric is stiff and holds its shape.
-
5
Gently pull the fabric off of the bowl so as not to cause rips and loss of form. Spray the inside of the fabric cup with a few applications of starch to help the cup hold its shape.
-
6
Twist together three or four pipe cleaners about four inches in length into a handle shape. Glue the pipe cleaners to the side of the fabric cup. Hold the handle firmly in place until the glue dries.
-
7
Decorate the cup with jewels, beads, fabric paint and glitter to add flair to the teacups.
