How to Burn an AVI File to VCD
AVI is a video file format that is known for its large file sizes that retain excellent quality video. They are usually put on DVDs, but in the event that you don't have a DVD burner, you can try to use a VCD. A VCD is a video CD. They became popular in Asia around the time Americans were using VHS tapes. They are smaller than DVDs when it comes to how much memory they hold, but some DVD players today still read VCDs. If you are willing to put forth the time in this process, you can burn your AVI files to VCD.

Tips & Warnings
Be patient. Video conversion takes a little while depending on how long your AVI file is.
Don't worry. Even though the final button you click is labeled "Create DVD," because of the settings you changed in previous steps, it will burn a VCD.
