How to Get Samsung Ringtones
The first feature that most people are concerned with customizing on their cell phones is the ringtone. The manner in which you get ringtones onto your cell phone though depends upon your particular cell phone as well as your cell phone carrier. Three basic methods work with most cell phones and service providers.

Download Ringtones from Service Provider

Open your Samsung cell phone. Click on the "Menu."

Locate the cell phone's ringtone download center. Click on the "Media" folder, and then "Get Music & Tones."

Browse for a ringtone in the ringtone download center. Click on the ringtone you want, and click "Download." Accept the charge to download the ringtone.
Text Ringtones to Yourself

Sign in to your email account, and begin composing a new email message. Address the message to your 10-digit cell phone number followed by your service provider's text messaging extension (e.g. xxxxxxxxxx@message.alltel.com).

Attach the ringtone you wish to add to your Samsung phone to your email message, and then send the email message. Note that the email message is delivered to your Samsung phone as a text message.

Click "View" on your Samsung phone to open the text message. Then click "Options" and "Save as Ringtone" to save the ringtone to your phone.
Download Ringtones from Ringtone Websites

Navigate to a website that offers ringtones. Browse for the ringtone you want to download to your phone.

Click on the ringtone you want, and then input your cell phone number into the corresponding text box and select your service provider from the drop down box. Pay the required fee (if the website charges for its ringtones). Click "Send" to text the ringtone to your Samsung phone.

Click "View" to open the text message on your Samsung phone, and then click "Options" and "Save as Ringtone" to save it to your cell phone.

Tips & Warnings
If your Samsung phone is carried by Verizon wireless, you can only use method 1 or 2 to get Samsung ringtones. If you use method 2, you must address your email to your 10-digit cell phone number followed by Verizon's picture text messaging extension (e.g.xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com).
Text messaging fees might apply, depending upon your service provider's rates as well as your calling and/or data plan.
