How to Make Reindeer Party Favors
Christmas is a time for parties, friends and families. Many hosts choose to give their guests a favor as a token of appreciation for attending the affair and as a reminder of the night of fun that was shared. Using an iconic symbol of the holiday season, such as a reindeer, for the party favors is the best way to incorporate the Christmas theme into the festivities. Things You'll Need
- Several 3-inch brown terracotta clay pots
- Water
- Liquid dish soap
- Dark brown card stock
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Light brown card stock
- White card stock
- Black card stock
- Glue
- Red pom poms
- Treats

Wash the terracotta clay pots with a mixture of warm water and a few drops of liquid dish detergent. Allow the pots to completely dry before continuing.The pot will act as the reindeer's head.

Cut out a pair of antlers from a piece of dark brown card stock. Draw the shape of the antlers out on the paper with a pencil for a cleaner, more precise look. Use a picture of a reindeer as a reference for the correct shape.

Cut out two oval shapes. These will serve as the reindeer's ears. Draw the shapes on paper before cutting for a cleaner look.

Glue the ears to the antlers. The bottom of the antlers and the ears should line up. Allow the glue to dry.

Cut out two round circles from a piece of white card stock. These will be the eyes and should be small enough to fit on the side of the pot.

Cut out two smaller round circles from a piece of black card stock. These will be the eyes' pupils.

Glue the pupils onto the eyes. Glue the eyes onto the front of the pot.

Glue a red pom pom below the eyes. This is the reindeer's nose.

Glue the antlers and ears to the back of the outside of the pot.

Fill the reindeer pots with chocolates, popcorn or any other small candy treats.
