An important part of planning any event or activity, whether its a business conference or a concert in the park, is creating a schedule that details for your audience exactly what will be happening and when during the event it will take place. The important part of creating such schedule is to create an organized layout that is easy to read and understand. One of the best programs that you can use for making your schedule is Microsoft Word. Word has a number of built in functions that can help you make the perfect schedule.

Depending on the nature of the event, you might also include your name or that or your organization. If the event is something like a conference or a charitable event, you can also include a brief statement thanking the attendees.

Use the tool to draw the outer rectangular border containing your schedule. Then use the tool to divide the rectangle into two columns. Make the one on the right much wider. Then draw in a series of rows.
