How to Change the Skins in "GTA"
The Grand Theft Auto video game series is one of the highest-selling game series, with a single game from the series, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, selling more than 21 million copies. The series has been criticized as being overly violent by the media, and loved by critics and customers alike for its game play and enormous scope. With modern computer games emphasizing customization, changing the way the Grand Theft Auto series look and feel is simple.

Open the graphics editing software. Change the blank image size to 256 by 256 pixels.

Open the "Grand Theft Auto" directory on your hard drive. By default, the directory is in the "Rockstar" folder inside "Program Files." Open the "Skins" folder.

Open a default skin in the graphics editing software. This is the template for the new skin. Refer back to this skin often to make sure the new skin will keep the same shape so it will fit when it's put into the game.

Paint the new skin on the blank 256 by 256 file in the graphics editor. Design it to fit the template, but don't let creativity be stifled. Beyond the template parameters, there are no rules.

Save the new skin in the "Skins" folder of the "Grand Theft Auto" directory.

Start the Grand Theft Auto program. Do not start playing; click "Options" instead.

Choose "Skins." Select the new skin. Begin a game of Grand Theft Auto and enjoy the new look.
