You can create the right ambience for your party by choosing the appropriate music.

  • Stereos
  • Music
  • Scary Sound Music
  • Sound Effects CDs
  • Voicemaster Changers
  1. Step 1

    Estimate the duration of the Halloween festivities.

  2. Step 2

    Listen to music on the Internet and in record stores before determining what you will play.

  3. Step 3

    Purchase music that is in keeping with your Halloween theme.

  4. Step 4

    Write down the play list well in advance, so you don't have to think about it during the festivities.

  5. Step 5

    Set out the music before anything starts.

  6. Step 6

    Intersperse sound effects between songs.

  7. Step 7

    Allow guests to bring their own music, and weave it in with your selections.

  8. Step 8

    Play instrumental but somewhat energetic music at the beginning, as people meet and greet each other.

  9. Step 9

    Play scary music during the telling of ghost stories or as people play games.

  10. Step 10

    Play dance music when the party peaks.

  11. Step 11

    Play slower, gentle music when you want people to think about leaving.

on 9/22/2008 DollarTree has some great cd's for a buck each that are great starters to a mix! Some of them even come loaded with printable childrens coloring pages and activities. Great for teachers and parents of little ones
