How to Make Binoculars Using Crafts
Binoculars can help a person view distant objects as if they are right in front of you. Parents or teachers can help children make a set of binoculars during art class. This craft lesson can be used in conjunction with a lesson on early explorers, who used binoculars from their ships to spot land in the distance. Once the binoculars are made, the children can act out a scene and pretend to spot America for the first time.

1
Lay some sheets of newspaper over your table to protect the table and make cleanup easier.
-
2
Set two empty toilet paper rolls next to each other so that they look like binoculars.
-
-
3
Connect the tops of the two tubes with a little piece of tape, then place a piece of tape between the bottom of the two tubes. This will hold the two toilet paper rolls together.
-
4
Use the paintbrush to paint the binoculars with whatever colors you prefer. You can paint your name, the stars or a ship, among many other options. Have fun making the binoculars look unique.
