Instructions

  1. Making the Connection

    • 1

Choose between the Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable or a HDMI cable. If you can, opt for HDMI because of the better digital signal.

    • 2

Plug the proprietary end of the Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable into the Xbox 360. Make sure the Xbox 360 is off. If you're using the HDMI cable, just plug the cable into the Xbox 360.

    • 3

Plug the VGA end of the Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable into the computer monitor. Be careful not to screw the cable too tightly into the monitor, or removal will become difficult. If your PC monitor has an input for an HDMI cable, insert the HDMI cable there.

    • 4

Start up the Xbox 360 and enjoy playing on your computer monitor. If you're using HDMI, you'll be enjoying your PC monitor in beautiful high definition.

Tips & Warnings

  • Instead of purchasing the Xbox 360 VGA HD AV cable, you can opt for a composite to VGA converter. This will transfer the yellow video signal to a blue VGA cable, which you can plug into the back of the PC monitor.
