How to Make Throwing Knives in RuneScape

Throwing knives are a useful weapon

Throwing knives, one of the fastest weapons in the game, are a weapon for the Ranged skill in RuneScape. Six out of the seven types of throwing knives can be made using the Smithing skill; the black throwing knives can be obtained only through drops from monsters or traded from other players. Rune throwing knives are the strongest and most expensive variety, but players can add poison to all throwing knives to make them do more damage.

Things You'll Need

• Pickaxe
• Hammer

Instructions

1. Click on a rock to mine. These can be found in areas such as the mine south of Varrock.

2. Take the ores to a furnace--found in several cities, such as Ardougne and Falador--and smith them into bars.

3. Take the bars and a hammer to an anvil, such as those in Varrock and Seer's Village.

4. Click on the anvil to open the smithing interface, then click on the picture of the throwing knives. You get five throwing knives for each bar you use.

Tips & Warnings

• You can carry unlimited throwing knives in your inventory.

• You can use higher-level rocks to make better throwing knives.
