Wash and dry your car completely. You should wash the car with much care and detail in order to get it as clean as possible. Make sure that you remove any dirt or debris that is caked on the car. Dry your vehicle with a soft, large towel. Make sure that it is completely dry before adding any polish.

Read the instructions on your car polish before you apply any to your car. Most polishes have the same instructions, but it is always important to double check. Apply the polish to the car one section at a time.

    • 3

Apply a straight line of car polish to one section of the car and use the small, soft cloth to rub in the polish on that section. Rub the polish into the car using small, circular motions until it has been completely absorbed. Repeat this process until each and every section of the car has been polished and the job is complete.
