How to Troubleshoot a Broksonic TV/VCR
Broksonic is an electronics company that produces a variety of television and VCR products. This includes several TV/VCR combos. With the combo you save room in your entertainment center by not installing a separate VCR. Of course, you can occasionally run into some playback issues when the Broksonic device does not function properly. If an issue does arise you want to make sure you correct whatever issues arises.

1
Turn on the power on the television and press the "VCR" button. This adjusts the TV playback to the VCR settings. Without pushing the VCR button you may not be able to watch a VHS tape already in the TV.
-
2
Push the "Volume Up" button. Your volume may have been reduced to nothing, preventing you from listening to any audio.

3
Check the cable connections running into the Broksonic TV/VCR. If the cables are not completely inserted into the audio/video ports you can experience playback issues (such as loss of quality or the audio/video not playing at all).
-
4
Insert a VHS cleaning tape into the Broksonic TV/VCR. Allow it to play for a few minutes. As dust builds up inside the VCR it hinders the playback of VHS tapes. The cleaner has a small amount of cleaning liquid on the tape, removing dust build up on the VCR's tape heads.
