How to Get Water Spots Off Trucks

After washing your truck, hard water spots may appear on the body and windows. Hard water spots develop when water dries and leaves behinds minerals, calcium, lime or soap. These water spots don’t hurt the glass or paint, but make the truck look dirty. Water spots on water are easily removed with water and newspaper. Use white distilled vinegar to cut through the deposits on the rest of the car. The vinegar breaks up the spot without causing damage.

Things You'll Need

• Newspaper
• Water
• Sponge or rag
• Spray bottle
• Vinegar

Instructions

1. Wet the newspaper with water.

2. Wipe off all glass surfaces with the newspaper.

3. Pour the vinegar in a spray bottle. Close the spray bottle.

4. Spray vinegar on the water spots.

5. Wipe off with a sponge or cloth
