How to Clean a Weber Genesis Gold Grill

Weber is a company that makes and manufactures gas and charcoal grills. One model is the Weber Genesis Gold Grill. It is important to clean this gas grill often so that it continues to cook your food properly. Performing this maintenance ensures that your Weber grill lasts as long as possible.

Things You'll Need

• Grill brush
• Dish soap
• Water
• Bowl
• Wash cloth

Instructions

1. Wait for your grill to cool a bit before cleaning it. You don't want it to be hot, but you don't want it to completely cool off either. It should be warm.

2. Brush the grill rack with your grill brush. Break loose any food that may have gotten stuck to the grill rack.

3. Mix a little dish soap and water together in a bowl.

4. Soak your wash cloth in the dish water and then wring it out.

5. Wipe down the grill rack, or any parts of the outside of the grill where you may have dripped meat juices or sauces.

6. Let the grill air dry.

Tips & Warnings

• If you have any stubborn stuck-on foods, just heat the gas grill to high and burn them off.

• A steel wool cleaning pad will damage stainless steal parts.
