How to Create Your Own World Map

To create your own world map, use the "Printable World Map," available on the Internet. This "Printable World Map" has tools to add color and text to customize your world map. When you are done customizing the map simply click the download button on the tool bar and save the map to your computer. Instructions

1. Launch your Internet browser.

2. Browse to the free "Printable World Map" website and the world map is displayed. See "Resources."

3. Using the tool bar menu above the map, click on a color in the "Color Picker" icon, click the "Fill Bucket" icon and click on the area of the map you would like to fill with color.

4. Continue using the tool bar menu until you have customized the map with the desired colors and text.

5. Click the "Download" icon on the tool bar menu.

6. Click "Get ready for download (free)" and the "Download" page is displayed.

7. Click "Download" and then click the "Save File" radio button to save the file on your computer. You now have created you own world map and saved it on your computer.
