How Do I Clear the Yahoo Search Bar?
Yahoo! provides a variety of free services to users. It is known mostly for its Internet search engine, which guides users to information they're seeking through words they enter into the search bar. If you have entered a query into the search bar and want to clear it, you can do so easily in a number of ways.

Enter a query into the search bar. The search bar is located at the top of the Yahoo! webpage. Click in the bar, type your query and hit "Enter" to search.

Clear the bar one character at a time. Click the search bar to the right of your query. A blinking cursor bar will appear. Hit the "back space" button on your computer keyboard to delete the query one letter at a time. Continue hitting the "back space" button until all of the query is clear.

Quickly clear the search bar by highlighting the text. Left-click your mouse on a space behind the text, and hold and drag the mouse across the text to highlight it. Let go of the mouse button and hit the "back space" key once on your computer keyboard to remove the entry completely.
