How to Read PDF Files on an iPhone

There are many applications and email options in an iPhone. You can sync several email accounts with your iPhone and access them when you’re connected to the Internet wirelessly. If you have Portable Document Format (PDF) files that you want to read, the easiest way to be able to view them on your iPhone is to email the PDF file to yourself as an attachment.

Instructions

1. Create an email to send to yourself. Attach the PDF to the email.

2. Make sure you are connected to the Internet and that you have the email account set up with your iPhone. Tap on the “Mail” icon from the main menu of your iPhone.

3. Tap on the “Account” option to access the email account. Tap on the “Inbox” option and then tap on the message that contains the PDF. The email should have a blue dot next to it.

4. Tap on the PDF attachment and allow time for the PDF to download. The PDF file will open on your iPhone.

5. Press the “Up” or “Down” buttons to navigate through the PDF as you read it.
