How to Create a Paper Card Box
A piece of paper can be made into many type of shapes. It can be turned into airplanes, paper dinosaurs, and even stars. One of the many crafts that can be made from paper are boxes. They are an inexpensive way to store your belongings like buttons, keys, jewelry, and so forth. With a bit of patience and a lot of folding, you can make your very own box out of paper.

1
Take the corner of one side of the paper. Fold it diagonally to create a right triangle, then make a crease. There should be a rectangle below the triangle.
-
2
Cut out the rectangle. Unfold the triangle and you will have a square piece of paper with a crease in the middle.
-
-
3
Fold the square in half, from one corner to the other, opposite the direction of the first fold. Then unfold the square. This will create intersecting crease marks.
-
4
Take one corner of the square and fold it onto the center crease intersection. Then unfold the corner. Repeat this process for the remaining three corners to create a large, quilted style crease on your paper.
-
5
Take one corner of the paper and fold it towards the furthest crease on its opposite side, then unfold it. Repeat this process for the other three corners.
-
6
Take one corner again and fold it towards the closest crease. Then repeat again for the other three corners.
-
7
Make four straight cuts, two on one side and two on the opposite side. Make sure you leave four squares uncut from the center. This will create tabs on opposite sides.
-
8
Fold up one of the triangles, then fold the triangle onto itself. Then push the triangular point towards the center.
-
9
Take the two tabs from the folded triangle on the sides and push them forward. Repeat steps eight and nine for the opposite side.
-
10
Pull one of the tabs together, then fold the larger, extended tab over. Fold the larger tab inside the center. Repeat this process for the other side to complete your paper box.
