Storing a website in your favorites folder allows you to access it quickly and easily at a later date. If you have bookmarked websites that you no longer visit or that are no longer in service, you can delete them in seconds from within your Web browser.

Using Firefox

Press "CTRL" and "B" to open the Bookmarks menu.

Click the arrow next to the "Bookmarks Menu" to expand that folder.

Right-click on the name of the website that you want to delete, and select "Delete" from the menu. The website will be removed from your Firefox Bookmarks menu.

Using Google Chrome

Press "CTRL," "Shift" and "B" to open the Bookmark Manager.

Click on the folder containing the bookmark that you want to delete.

Click on the website that you want to remove from your Bookmarks menu and press "Delete" on your keyboard. The site will be deleted from your list of favorite websites.

Using Internet Explorer

Click "Favorites" in the toolbar located beneath the address bar.

Right-click on the name of the site that you no longer wish to store in your Favorites folder.

Click "Delete." The website will be permanently removed from your Internet Explorer "Favorites" menu.
