How to Create & Print Cards Online for Free

To save money or to be open with customization, you may be looking to create business or greeting cards at home. If you don't want the expense of buying extra software or paying a website to create these cards, there are several websites that allows you to create and print cards online for free. These sites have several free designs that you can use while adding whatever text that you want for your cards.

• Printer (to print out the cards)

Instructions

HP Print Projects

1. Go to the HP projects website. Click on the "Preview & Print" link above the card preview image.

2. Click on "Project Types" in the menu bar at the top of the page and then click "Cards & Stationery."

3. Click on the type of card you want to create. The choices are Announcements, Greeting Cards, Invitations, Thank You Cards, Recipe Card, Letters & Stationery and Postcards.

4. Choose a design in the next page. Type in the text to personalize the message printed on the card. A preview of the card will show on the right side of the screen. Add text to the front, inside and back sections of the card

5. Click on the "Preview & Print" link above the card preview image.

6. Click on "Ready To Print" link. Read the instructions on the next screen for printing two-sided cards correctly. When ready, click on "Print it" to print the outside of the card and then the second "Print it" button to print the inside of the card.

MyFunCards

1. Go to the MyFunCards website. You don't need to register to be able to create and print cards free, but you will need to download the MyFunCards toolbar for your browser.

2. Click the large "Click Here" button to start the download for the installation file. Follow the instructions on the next page to install the toolbar. You will need to restart your browser when the installation is completed.

3. Click the "MyFunCards" drop-down arrow from the MyFunCards toolbar now installed in the browser. Hoover your mouse pointer over "Cards Gallery" menu item and then click on the type of card you want to create. The MyFunCards website opens with the category of cards you selected already showing.

4. Click on the design that you want. There are several different designs available and you can even search for a specific type of design.

5. Preview the card on the left side of the screen while typing in the words on the right. MyFunCards are eCards so you will have to enter in the email address of the person you are sending it to, your name and email address, a subject and a message for the eCard. Schedule a time to send the card and click "Send." To print the card, right-click on the preview image and click "Print."
