How to Use a Bodum Coffee Press
The Bodum French coffee press consists of a glass pot with a lid that holds a metal plunger. After adding coffee and hot water to the glass pot, you allow the coffee to steep before pushing down the plunger to strain the coffee grounds out of the coffee. The French press method, according to Thompson Owen, co-founder of Sweet Maria's Roasteria in Oakland, California, accentuates the body of the coffee and works well for drinking bigger bodied, less acidic coffees.
